Often having visibility into different aspects of the fulfillment operations is impossible or difficult because of all the information not readily available on one platform.  

ATS is one such metric which requires information from multiple place i.e. Demand (Sales) & Inventory. 

ATS (Available to Sell/Ship):

Demand: Open un-allocated demand for all the applicable order types/ document category (Configurable) for the SKU by plant.

Inventory: All the un-allocated inventory for the SKU by plant.

ATS = Inventory – Demand (At a SKU & Plant level).

Positive ATS means there is enough inventory left in the warehouse after fulfilling the existing demand, so there is enough to sell/ship.

Negative ATS means oversold, there is not enough inventory left in the warehouse to fulfill the existing demand, so there is nothing to sell & not enough to ship.
