In OpsVeda system, Alerts can be created of two types:  

• Action Alert – An alert that requires a certain resolution or an action to be taken. It is usually assigned a person (Assignee) who is responsible for taking an action or resolution when the alert is received.

Information Alert – This type of alert is typically used to notify the user of an event or to bring attention towards an event he was paying attention to. This type of alerts does not require any immediate action to be taken and are commonly used for reporting purposes.
